Brooklyn Navy Yard Remodleing

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

Anonymous Communique:

The night before Brooklyn Navy Yard’s board meeting, some individuals sprayed the building red and tagged messages, to remind the Navy Yard to DROP EASY AERIAL and DROP CRYE PRECISION. These companies produce military drones and combat gear, respectively. Both sell their products to the “israeli” Occupation Forces committing genocide in Palestine, and to the various AmeriKKKlan Imperial Occupation Forces here on Turtle Island and around the world, like the NYPD and ICE, and the US military.

Shoutouts to the @demilitarizebklynnavyyard campaign, the weekly picketers, and the @pop4climate comrades who locked themselves together on the morning of the board meeting. If you haven’t, tap into this campaign, support direct action, support the picketers, pull up en masse. The Brooklyn Navy Yard will not have peace as long as they house military manufacturers.

FREE PALESTINE!
CHINGA LA MIGRA!
SHUT DOWN EASY AERIAL!
SHUT DOWN CRYE PRECISION!
MILITARY MANUFACTURERS OUT OF BROOKLYN!

Earlier this week, a group of activists vandalized a line of police vehicles near the Strategic Response Group’s Bronx headquarters. The SRG is a notorious NYPD unit, trained by “Israel” and responsible for the violent repression and daily brutalization of all New Yorkers; most notably including scores of Palestine solidarity protesters in the past 18 months and Black Lives Matter activists in 2020.

We slashed their tires, smashed their windows, and sprayed their vehicles’ insides with paint, making them virtually unusable. In isolation, this act of resistance won’t do much to stop the relentless onslaught of state violence and repression our communities are facing. The NYPD owns thousands of vehicles and other property that are ripe for the picking. Join us! It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3: SLASH, SMASH, SPRAY!

Bloc up, stay safe, use discretion, and act now! Marches are not enough. Target unsurveilled areas, conceal your identity, and leave no trail for them to follow. They can’t catch us all. Fuck the police and free Palestine!

Tools used

    Slash: ice pick

    Smash: spring loaded center punch

Spray: fire extinguisher (1/3 paint, 1/3 water, 1/3 air)

Leather gloves, ski masks, black bloc. Always cover face and eyebrows during travel to and from actions.

Arson Attack on Police Van in Williamsburg

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

18 June 2025 – Anonymous Submission
Last night before the rain I put a package of flamey on the wheel of a police van by union and metropolitan in williamsburg. I don’t know exactly what happened next, but I’m glad I did it and recommend everyone try as many firey ways as possible for as long as breaking cop toys is seen as violence while people being forcefully removed from their loved ones and from the ground and resources they have every right to by being born on this planet is seen as law and routine.

Against a coward hearted nation that fronts for free speech while allowing a young woman to be jumped in the street for writing against genocide, and organizers and protesters to be kidnapped.

Against a fraudulent country that is willing to expose its illusion of liberty as posturing as long as it can stay scared of brown people’s freedom.

For Rumeysa Ozturk, for Mahmoud Khalil, for all the families, friends, nieghbors imprisoned. For everyone stolen from us, from one of so many who WILL. NOT. FORGET THEM.

Solidarity with Los Angeles! Arson attack on multiple NYPD vehicles.

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

Multiple NYPD cars were set on fire in the early, early morning of Thursday June 12th. The cars were just waiting there, practically begging for a new makeover! Tips on replicating this can be found on most counterinfo sites or just common knowledge; this was way easy. And so fun. Apologies to the community for the smell and the noise. And fuck you and haha to that pig—yeah, you know who you are.

There are many reasons for doing this, but for the sake of time it can be boiled down to four: 1) Solidarity with the uprising happening in Los Angeles where community and rebels are fighting Amerikkkan pig forces. From one cop city to another, death to the pigs and the surveillance state. 2) Revenge for the NYPD’s continuous physical and sexual harassment/assault of protestors, particularly femmes (incidents include removing of hijabs, forced nudity, degrading remarks, and more). 3) Something to show that repression breeds resistance and 4) Demonstrating that solidarity with the Palestinian resistance, immigrants, Black people doesn’t mean pointless demos where everyone gets arrested, endless marches to nowhere, and vapid chants. Solidarity means ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!

Sincerely, the anarchists and the rats and the brats and the lawless.

POLICING RAGE

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

There is a growing tendency, especially in “leftist” spaces, to silence anger in the name of civility. Phrases like “Do not engage” may be appropriate in some moments, but when they evolve into accusations like “you are making us unsafe,” they become tools of oppression themselves. These statements often shift the blame away from fascist violence and redirect it toward the people most harmed by it. What is being labeled as dangerous is not the violence of power, but the rage of the oppressed.

This is not new. Black and brown people have long been villainized for our anger. From the stereotype of the “angry Black woman,” to the “spicy Latina,” to the “hot-blooded Arab,” our emotional responses to centuries of violence have been ridiculed, criminalized, and dismissed. These tropes are not just offensive—they are dehumanizing. They strip us of our right to feel, to respond, to fight back. They teach us that our rage is irrational rather than righteous, and that our fury must be pacified in order to be taken seriously.

But our rage is not unwarranted. It is not dangerous. It is not reactionary. It is a survival mechanism, an emotional inheritance born from generations of resistance against colonization, imperialism, slavery, occupation, and systemic dehumanization.

Yet today, too often, we find ourselves in rooms meant to be safe, meant to be radical, where we are still policing one another, where we are debating whether someone’s anger at fascism is too loud, too disruptive, too much. This is by design. The empire works tirelessly to turn us against each other, to fracture our solidarity, to make us internalize its fear of our power.

But there is a raw strength, unteachable, sacred, that lives in our anger. A strength that must not be silenced for the sake of fragile peace. Because peace without justice is not peace. No justice, no peace. There is no peace without liberation, there is no liberation without a fight.

The fight for justice demands that we embrace the full spectrum of our emotions, especially our rage. It demands that we reject the false binary of respectability versus radicalism. It demands that we recognize anger not as a failure of character, but as a compass pointing us toward what is intolerable—and what must be changed.

Let us channel that anger. Let us organize it. Let us wield it with clarity and purpose. Our rage is not the problem. It is part of the solution.

TYS TWO CHOICES

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

We are given two choices, we can be killed/be jailed, or we have the choice of being complacent. We are tasked with fighting for a world and a tomorrow that the (power/entity/state) tries its hardest for us to not be able to imagine.

We live in a state of survival, fighting for basic necessities, pulling out fires after fires, both metaphorical and literal. From the overdraft fees that lead us to homelessness to the fires that destroy the homes we hold onto by a thread. We have been taught that this is not a symptom or a bug of capitalism but a feature used to further demobilize us.

Homelessness, starvation, displacing us and making the future we fight for difficult to imagine is the goal. Enslaving us, forcing us into complacency, shrinking our goals into mere feats of survival is the goal.

When we make the decision die for the cause, when we choose to live like we are already in the world we are fighting for, the dream becomes a reality. What they try so hard to prevent us from seeing, becomes clear. When we decide to not make compromise with our enemies, and are met with a feeling of isolation, we are offered a glimpse into the world we should sacrifice everything for.

When we choose to risk our comforts to share them with the larger community, we are show what care and compassion looks like. It is impossible to fight for a future we cannot imagine, it’s impossible to see a future unless you are fighting for it

We must struggle with what sacrifice means and looks like for us. Those of us living in the belly of the beast. We must move beyond reactionary responses and work proactively to address systemic issues. This means consistently engaging in community organizing, building networks of care, and challenging the status quo, rather than waiting for the next crisis to spur us into action. What are you willing to sacrifice? How are you already living in the future you are fighting for? We must move beyond performative gestures.

NO TO DIVESTMENT. YES TO DESTRUCTION

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

During the current repression of student activists, we are witnessing the contradictions of the student movement disastrously manifesting itself. The liberal, reformist, and racist organizing present in the so-called student intifada, the encampments and everything that followed has resulted in a movement that is ill-equipped to counter the state tactically and politically.
The primary contradiction hindering the student movement is their dedication to divestment. This is a goal that one can only question and laugh at when you understand that the U.S. and ALL OF ITS INSTITUTIONS are not complicit in the Palestinian genocide but responsible for it – as well as responsible for the current genocides and domestic colonialism happening to black and brown people here in amerikkka. Complicity implies that the U.S.’s role in israel’s crimes is only due to its financial aid, but responsibility recognizes that the U.S. powers and inspires israel tactically and ideologically, and that the collapse of israel depends wholeheartedly on whether or not the U.S. still stands.

Universities like columbia, tns, ccny, and more sit on Lenapehoking land, a result of the U.S.’s genocide of Indigenous peoples and the displacement of their land and homes. These universities, built on the bones of Indigenous people, also serve the purpose of aiding gentrification operations that displace, unhouse, and kill native new yorkers, the poor, and black and brown people.

Divestment then becomes not just an impossible goal, but a reformist and racist one – to pretend that the U.S. and these institutions can atone for their crimes and change is liberal, only organizing and fighting against your university’s role in the Palestinian genocide dismisses the suffering and harm caused to countless other people by the same institution.

The liberal and racist contradictions have manifested in many ways. Of the many issues with the student encampments, one was the treatment of outsiders. Although some organizers fought against the media’s fixation on “outside agitators,” unhoused people (commonly black native new yorkers) seeking shelter and food were treated like agitators and invaders. The racism and classism was horrific, with ccny organizers meeting to discuss, “Homeless people that are stealing and invading the camp!”

This behavior was seen throughout the city during the time of the encampments, indicating the willingness that many pro-Palestine students have to not only preserve their campuses and institutions but to preserve the U.S.. This is also seen in the current organizing against student kidnappings and deportations, which has been disgustingly liberal due to actions by the classist pig collaborators known as PYM, and the student movement’s failure to connect their repression to the same assaults and abductions felt by Mexican immigrants and other asylum skeekers who the state has also been fabricating stories of alien invasions and dangerous ideas. How serious can you claim to be when you get a permit from the nypd, the same force working side by side with the agents that kidnapped Mahmoud Khalil? What example does that set, and what does it mean when you chant, “NYPD KKK IOF THEY’RE ALL THE SAME”?

The state’s escalations against us are not based on reason but on destroying dissent. Khalil was kidnapped for ideas, which should tell us that even the most liberal of us will be taken. Those who want to keep the sanctity of the state, of these institutions, and even those kkkolumbia organizers who say “the nypd is not an oppresive force,”will be brutalized, kidnapped, and killed. There is no point in negotiating, collaborating, or appealing to institutions such as kkkolumbia when they will not bat an eye at your persecution like they don’t bat an eye at the oppression and displacement of black people in Harlem. Do not give validity to these institutions by begging for them to divest. Do not ask for their permission.

A revolutionary change in conciousness must happen. We must recognize that the U.S. is the ultimate entity, and go beyond performative “death to amerikkka” slogans and manifest this sentiment materially in our organizing. We must end “solidarity organizing” and become truly anti-imperialist, as the most militant and impactful thing we can do to stop the genocide in Palestine is to start our own war against amerikkka here. Start the war here in solidarity with New Afrikans, with indigenous people, with all prisoners, with all oppressed people fighting amerikkka domestically and internationally.

You must kill the cop inside of your head, and the cops inside the heads of all of your comrades. Reflect on the bigotry present inside in the movement and inside each other – the classism, the racism, the sexism, the transphobia, the constant othering that we do – and then destroy it. Weed out the collaborators, the reformists, and the negotiators.

Stop asking for disclosure and divestment

Fight to destroy the state and ALL its institutions

Actions Centering Jewish Identity Amidst the Palestinian Genocide

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

The ongoing genocide of Palestinians is a crisis of ethnic cleansing, settler colonial violence, and land dispossession.

Framing this atrocity through the lens of Judaism distorts the reality of the situation, diminishing the suffering of Palestinians, while reinforcing identity politics in a way that weakens the anti-imperialist struggle.

Too often, identity politics is wielded in a way that divorces it from its original meaning.
The term was coined by the black feminist Comanche River Collective to describe a framework of liberation grounded in the lived experiences of oppressed people. In contrast, contemporary misuse of identity politics dilutes its radical potential, reducing it to a tool for centering identity over material analysis.
Identity, and protecting the superficial analysis of it, is prioritized over sacrifice and struggle.
“A lot of times in Palestine solidarity work that’s not in Palestine, we see an emphasis on either Palestinian identity, Jewish identity, or Israeli identity… that emphasis on identity is often combined with a complete lack of critique of what is being said… it really degrades the conversation.” -Leila Shomali and Lara Kilan
The genocide has never been about Judaism or Islam or religion at large — it has always been about colonial theft and ethnic cleansing. Centering Judaism, even in an anti-zionist framework, shifts the focus away from the Palestinian struggle and resistance.

“Not In Our Name” exemplifies this misdirection; while it is intended to distance anti-zionist Jews from zionist atrocities, it instead recenters Jewish identity in a conversation that should be focused on Palestinian liberation. If anything, this normalizes Zionist tactics of using religion as a tool of colonization.

“Not In Our Name” diminishes the harm committed against Palestinian Jews. It centers the genocide on Jewish people when it should be centered on *all* Palestinians—*all* our martyrs.

Solidarity means equal risk means equal action means sacrifice.

Solidarity doesn’t mean making the suffering of the oppressed about external identities.

“The goal for anti-zionist Jews should be to disrupt zionist narratives, not to attempt to ‘save the soul’ of Judaism or absolve the Jewish community of its culpability for its communal involvement in zionism.”

“The global struggle against zionism does not hinge on whether or not Jewish people support it. While Jewish anti-zionists can and should support this struggle in meaningful ways, centering their identity over the plight of Palestinians is counterproductive and harmful.”
-Good Shepherd Collective, “Guide for Jewish Anti-zionist Jews”

We must move away from the liberal misuse of identity politics and towards revolutionary anti-imperialist organizing.

Misuse of identity politics only becomes a distraction, shifting our focus away from the structures of oppression that we must dismantle. It is a tool of the enemy.

The fight for Palestinian liberation must remain rooted in the material realities of the occupation, genocide, and resistances. It must reject frameworks that shift conversations away from these realities and instead amplify the voices of Palestinians who are on the frontlines of this struggle.

Amplifying the Palestinian resistance, decolonial ideas and tactics, and identifying our enemies (weapons manufacturers, politicians, and institutions) is the priority and anything else is normalizing the tactics of oppressor.

AMERIKKKA IS A DEATH CAMP

Posted on 2025/06/21 - 2025/06/21 by nycresistswithgaza

New york has been shuttling asylum seekers from shelters all around NEW york city to randall’s island, a place described as an “extermination camp,” “cop city,” and an “ice trap.” Uprooting them from the communities they’ve built and the jobs they’ve secured. Access to and from Randalls Island is nearly impossible without a car. Public transportation is limited, making it inaccessible for many impoverished individuals displaced there, adding to the unlivable conditions present on the island.
randall’s island hosts a mix of facilities including a homeless shelter, migrant shelters, NYCHA housing projects, the New York State Police academy training camps, FDNY training camps, NYPD harbor, counter terrorism facility.

The campaign for utilizing Randalls Island and the closure of other already inadequate migrant shelters across the city is fueled by anti-migrant sentiment. “We’re not scrambling every day to open new shelters—we’re talking about closing them. We’re not discussing how much we’re spending—we’re talking about how much we’ve saved. And thanks to today’s announcement, in a few months, we’ll focus on how much we’re investing in restoring Randall’s Island’s incredible fields and parks for community use,” says Piggie Adams. Randalls island is to close by the end of February, further displacing an already displaced community.

The city of new york is determined to criminalize and exterminate the impoverished, adding 300 pigs to the trains during late hours when people are attempting to survive the code blue weathers. This is not exclusively a new york issue, or an asylum seeker issue, this affects us all, with calls being made for “the cuffs to be taken off of ICE” and expected raids from Chicago and throughout the country.
